AARP Driver Safety classes are open to anyone age 50 or older, and are now being offered in the Benicia area. It's a great way to refresh your driving skills, and earn a discount on your auto insurance for up to three years, too. The two-day class (four hours each day) is being conducted at the Benicia Community Center, but those interested should sign up for the class at the Benicia Senior Center. Take advantage of an AARP promotion during July and August for current/retired teachers and school employees -- pay just $5 to attend this Driver Safety training class! Save up to $9 over the normal registration fee ($12 for AARP members; $14 for non-members). Any past or present school employee qualifies for this special rate -- teachers, counselors, school nurses, custodians, cafeteria workers, principals, Sunday school teachers, college professors, and even parents who home-schooled their children. Pay at the class.
