Benicia High School (BHS) students will demonstrate their musical theatre talents Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, as part of the Drama and Dance department’s 1st annual fundraiser, “An Evening of Love,” a spaghetti dinner, silent auction and musical theatre showcase.
A sumptuous spaghetti dinner with meat and vegetarian options will be served at 5:30 p.m. in the BHS Student Center Cafeteria 1101 Military West in Benicia. Diners will also have the opportunity to bid on dozens of Silent Auction items that promise great value. Highest bidders will pay and collect their item that night. Auction items include certificates for fine dining, massages, local bottled wines and quality cookware. Playbills with celebrity signatures and other performing arts memorabilia add to the list.
At 7 p.m. participants will move to the Performing Arts Building an evening of high entertainment. The program will be filled with musical theatre songs about love.
