Benicia Men's Group

Meet with other men in confidentiality to discuss relationship issues, men’s issues, anger, self esteem, job loss, other losses, and heal old wounds.

WHEN:
Every Wednesday night from 7pm to 9pm. First meeting August 3rd. (please arrive at 6:50pm, doors will close at 7:05)
WHERE:
511-1st Street, Benicia, CA (2nd floor studio, take
exterior stairs at north end of bldg.) Near the First Street Café above Angel Hearts 4 You.

COST: Free (we may
ask for a small donation of $5 to defray the cost of the space; no one turned
away for lack of funds)

ABOUT THE GROUP: The group will be open to any men, irrespective of sexual orientation, for the first four meetings and will then be closed to create an environment of stability and safety. We would prefer to keep the group to 8 to 12 steady members. The group facilitator is Harvey Rifkin. The Principles of Attitudinal Healing devised by Dr. Gerald Jampolsky, based on the Course in Miracles will be used in the work.

Harvey was a volunteer peer group facilitator for 3 years at the Center for Attitudinal Healing in Sausalito, CA.  Harvey also completed 3 seminars at Dominican College in facilitation of peer to peer groups. He also was a member of several men’s groups.
