Two Day Workshop

Curious and imaginative, artist Kim Howard invites you into a life lived intentionally, deeply and fully engaged. Kim gives forth her discoveries and earnest questions in her artwork of folkloric paintings, color saturated two and three demensional work for children's rooms, prints and cards and books and with her joyful adventures in both workshops and the make-believe world of her studio.

Join Kim for two days and create a one of a kind Adventure Journal.  Oriented towards the Artist or Non-Artist, this is an on-location Travel Journal Adventure for documenting your vacations and day-to-day life. You will learn some drawing skills, watercolor painting, and collage to best enhance your captured moments.

Through fun and rapid exercises, including page texturing and decoration, a visual memory will begin to unfold in two days. You will come away with the tools to capture face and figure, landscape, beginning perspective, and value and page composition. You will also find your own “voice” to record journeys with family and friends, as well as moments of reflective solitude within your home.

Kim will bring zillions of her own travel journals to share with you, providing you don’t read the secrets in between the watercolor sketches!
