Join Arts Benicia and curator Jacqueline Cooper for a discussion with Emerging Curator: Collateral Damage artists. The artist talk will delve into the respective artists' processes and perspectives, and afford visitors an opportunity to ask questions and engage in a dialog with the artists and curator.
Emerging Curators: Collateral Damage includes the work of seven artists currently living and working in the East Bay: David Burke, Courtney Cerruti, Clint Imboden, Dickson Schneider, James Shefik, and Deborah Vinograd. The work of each artist explores how individual artworks can assume commentary on violence and aggression and also act as the relics of those actions.
