Benicia is presenting its second annual Global Climate Action Day, as a launch to the newest community garden. Participants can plant a winter vegetable, square dance, compete in sack races, and get free pumpkins (while they last) as they learn about sustaining the planet.
The event is co-sponsored by the City of Benicia's Community Sustainability Commission and Benicia Community Gardens, Inc.
