The Oakland Zoo is presenting a whole day of events and activities focused on elephants. Attractions include Circus Finelli, an animal–free circus of acrobats and clowns performing at 12 p.m. and 2pm.; elephant information stations, $5 tours of the elephant barn; binoculars and data sheets handed out to the day's "elephant researchers."
The day will be capped off with an elephant lecture, food, drinks and a silent auction at 6 p.m. $20 for admission to this fundraiser.
