Playground of Dreams workday

Help the Playground of Dreams get ready for its 20^th birthday party!

Adult volunteers are needed to sweep, touch up painting, and clean the structure that the community built in the spring of 1992.

“It would be great to see some of the young adults who played there when they were growing up,” says Sue Sumner-Moore, a member of the original playground committee and an organizer of the workday.

Work starts at 9 a.m. Volunteers should bring work gloves, brooms, rakes, a water bottle and wear sunscreen.  All tools should be marked with your name and phone number. Refreshments will be provided.

The work is being done in preparation for the playground’s birthday party at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 29.
