Poets' Picnic  

Sat. August 6, 2011 - 12 noon to 4 pm. at BENICIA FIRST STREET PARK with GAZEBO

Open Mic for Poets Laureate and former Laureates of California Communities. Reading starts at 2:30 pm

Bring  poem to put in our picnic basket for a chance to have it read by a laureate. Share other poems wiht your neighbors on the grass. Bring cold food to share. We provide watermelon, lemonade and water.

Bring hat, folding chair, blanket as needed. Childrens' playground w/supervision for reading.
