
Tuesday, June 21 is Summer Solstice, a time to greet the new season and say farewell to Spring. Chabot Space & Science Center will hold a special public Summer Solstice viewing, when the shadows made by the rotunda skylights form a unique and special alignment with the compass rose and floor-windows on the first floor below.
On hand to explain this celestial-architectural alignment will be Chabot Astronomer Ben Burress.
