Fairfield Man Found Dead In Vallejo Under Suspicious Circumstances

A Fairfield man found in Vallejo on Christmas Eve was pronounced dead at the scene and sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death as suspicious.

California Highway Patrol officers were called to the Lynch Canyon Road area Thursday on report of a man down. Medical personnel pronounced the victim, 53-year-old Rebart Ordonio, dead at the scene.

Ordonio’s car, a black Chevrolet Camaro with silver racing stripes, was found in the center divide of westbound Interstate Highway 80, east of American Canyon.

Investigators are hoping that due to holiday traffic, motorists or passengers heading through that area may have seen Ordonio or his vehicle.
