Firefighters Respond to Solano County Garage Fire

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Vallejo firefighters are at the scene of a garage fire the morning of Jan. 3, a fire engineer said.

Firefighters responded at 8:26 a.m. to the fire that is believed to have started in a dryer at a home in the 200 block of Evelyn Circle, according to Engineer Kevin Brown.

The occupants of the single-family home evacuated safely, and firefighters have ventilated the roof of the garage, Brown said.

The American Canyon Fire Department also responded to the fire, Brown said.
