Flag Day - Flag Disposal Ceremony

What: Disposal of Unserviceable Flags

Where: Benicia Veteran's Hall

When: Sunday, June 14 starting at 9:00 AM

Why: Flags are worn beyond respectful service and must be disposed of in accordance with proper flag etiquette

Who: All are invited; veterans, service members, scouts, community members, friends, Families.

How:      Sunday, June 14:

          + 9:00 - Raise the colors

                        - Pledge of Allegiance

                        - Flag Disposal Ceremony

          + 9:30 - Location: Lower parking lot

                        - Flag disposal barrels fired up

                        - Individuals may bring flags for proper disposal - flag may be dedicated if desired

                       - We have additional flags for disposal if anyone wants to come dedicate a flag

                        - Ongoing until all flags respectfully disposed of

          + 12:00 - Barbecue

          + 2:00 - Burial of ashes
