Flood Warning Issued for Solano County

BREAKING: The warning is in effect until Wednesday morning.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- A flood warning is in effect for Solano County on Jan. 10, according to Fairfield police.

The flood warning for urban areas and small streams remains in effect until at least 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, police said. The warning is also in effect for several counties farther east.

Several streams within the warning area are at or near flood levels, according to the National Weather Service.

Urban ponding is expected to subside and some streams and rivers may stop rising today while rainfall has stopped. However, another incoming weather system should bring more rain and flooding Wednesday.
