Fund-raising Run for Benicia Education Foundation

The 4^th Annual  is scheduled for Sunday April 10^th. Race Director, Teresa Zabrek wants the community to know that run is a family-friendly event, and open to everyone from amateur runners to serious athletes.

 Proceeds benefit the Benicia Education Foundation, a volunteer-operated community-based, non-profit organization. The foundation funds and technology programs in the .

 The professionally-designed 10k course begins at the Waterfront Green, takes runners through Benicia State Park, historical sights and included waterfront scenery.

Signature Sponsors are and your Benicia Patch. Platinum sponsors include Earthly Nutrition, , Pasta Prima and Roadrunner Sports. Benicia merchants will offer after-event specials for participants on race day.

Now is the time to register to get the Early-bird rate, which ends on February 28. Entry fees are $15 for runners 17 and under, and $25 for adults. The rates go up by $5.00 on March 1, and another $5.00 on  race day.
