Spring is here and so are the outdoor day festivals. Pick one.

Where/When: Throughout Benicia Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1, 2011.  Get maps and see work from all artists at the Gallery, 991 Tyler Street, Suite 114.

Where/When: , 2045 Mount Diablo St, Concord; Friday, 9:00 p.m. –1:00am

Why Go: Garageland Rodeo is bringing it's unique brand of rock and blues with just a hint of country and a lotta soul to downtown Concord. Come rock out.

Where/When: , 603 Marina Vista Ave, Martinez; Saturday, 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Why Go: Spend a relaxing afternoon strolling the tree-lined streets in downtown Martinez while enjoying wine tasting at local businesses. Ticket includes glass, wine glass charm, wine tasting passport and a map of participating
businesses & wine tasting.

Pricing: $15 advance, $25 day of event

Where/When: 1556 Brown St, Martinez; Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Why Go: Free, award-winning tour features 50 Alameda and Contra Costa county gardens that are pesticide-free, conserve water, provide habitat for wildlife, and contain 50% or more native plants.  This self-drive tour showcases a variety of gardens, from large parcels in the hills to small lots in the flats.  Native plant sales and talks are offered at select gardens.

Where/When: , 90 1st St, Benicia; Sunday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Why Go: There will be something for everyone to enjoy at this family-friendly event, complete with waterfront views, food, music, fun and of course, the cars. Hourly raffle prize drawings begin at 11 a.m., from a pool of prizes valued at more than $4,000. A fine selection of food vendors and car show related craft vendors will complete your day.
