Street fairs, barbecues and lost souls are here to celebrate Father's Day weekend

Where/When: Vallejo Waterfront; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Why Go: Little sea dogs and their parents can check out tall ships, live music, pirate encampments, nautical inspired crafts, games, costume contests, sword fighting and ship-to- shore cannon battles. The country’s largest pirate party will also give away $5,000 in gold doubloons and treasure for its fifth anniversary.

Where/When: Main Street, Martinez; Friday 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Why Go: Every Friday during the summer, Main Street in Martinez comes alive with motorcycles, hot rods, classic cars and custom trucks in a weekend celebration. There is live music, a raffle, and family fun. All makes and models welcome - no entry fee to show off your stuff.

Where/When: 90 1st St, Benicia; Saturday 8 p.m.-10 p.m.

Why Go: It’s baaack … the once-a-month spooky Ghost Walk, where paranormals guide brave souls around the city at night and see who — or what — creeps up. No children under the age of 10!

Where/When: #1 Quandt Lane, Benicia; Saturday 2-4 p.m.

Why Go: Join this fashion show and garden party while raising money for charitable causes such as Benicia Soroptimist and STAND! Against Domestic Violence. Enjoy sparkling wines, and samplings of chocolate treats.
