High Wind Warning In Effect: Sand Bag Stations Available In Benicia

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for areas of Solano County but only for areas affected in the LNU Complex Fire.

The City of Benicia advises that the National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for parts of the Bay Area Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon due to the rainstorm predicted through Thursday. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for areas of Solano County but only for areas affected in the LNU Complex Fire (not Benicia).

Heavy rains are expected through Thursday. If needed, free sandbag stations are available:

  • Corporation Yard (2400 East Second Street)
  • East E Street parking lot (across the street from Benicia Yacht Club, 400 East Second St)

If you have issues with flooding, water or sewer backups or downed limbs, call the Benicia Corporation Yard at 707.746.4296 during regular business hours or Benicia Police Department at 707.745.3411 after hours.
