Host families needed for French teens, one with a motor disability, July 2015!

Summer foreign exchange opportunity for teenagers, July 2015. Volunteer families requested.

Bonjour!

Vistas in Education is offering you the opportunity to host a French student in your
home from July 8- July 28, 2015. Hosting a French teenager is an exciting and
enriching experience for the whole family. By receiving a student as a member of your
family, not just as a guest, he or she will share in all aspects of your family life.

The French students are between the ages of 13 and 18. They have studied English for
varying lengths of time. All American families are welcome to apply for this program.
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO SPEAK FRENCH. The students who come usually have a fair level
of English. We prefer families with a teenager at home.

One French teen, a 16 year old girl with a motor disability, must be placed with a
family who is particularly sensitive to her needs.

Most important is: the true desire to have a foreign student in your home; an openness
and willingness to share; an interest in learning about other cultures; a warm,
welcoming family environment; a commitment to friendship and international
understanding.
