House Fire Quickly Contained Wednesday Afternoon

VALLEJO, CA -- Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire at a residence in Vallejo Wednesday afternoon.

The fire was reported around 1 p.m. in the 300 block of De Anza Drive and a search found no occupants inside, according to a Twitter post by Vallejo fire officials.

Fire officials said less than five minutes later that overhaul operations were underway after the fire was knocked down.
