
VALLEJO, CA -- Firefighters responding to a residential structure fire in Vallejo this afternoon found the residents in the garage with garden hoses, and quickly determined that the fire was under control.
Firefighters were dispatched to an address in the 100 block of Darlington Place around 3:40 p.m. for a one-alarm fire in an occupied structure.
When they arrived, crews found light smoke and the residents were in the garage with garden hoses.

By 3:48 p.m. firefighters determined that the fire was under control. Several units remained on scene to overhaul the structure.
