How You Can Help Benicia Students

Benicia has some the best schools in Solano County.  But, not every Benicia student goes to school with all the supplies they need.

There some students whose families aren’t able to afford all the supplies a student should have on the first day of school. 

Patch looked at the supply lists for students of all grades and came up with this list of things you can donate to the district for students who’s families are still suffering from the effects of the nation’s economic problems.

You can drop off your donations at the Benicia Unified School District offices locate at 350 East L Street.

Elementary Students:

Backpacks
Crayons  - boxes of 16 or 24
#2 pencils
rubber erasers – white it possible
glue sticks
Fiskar brand blunt nosed scissors
Facial tissues
Colored pencils
Wise ruled 3-hole binder paper
12 inch ruler with metric measure
copy paper
blue and black dri erase markers (low odor if possible)
spiral notebooks
1 inch and 1.5 inch 3-ring binders

Middle School Students:

1.5 inch binder
notebook paper
pen and pencil case
glue stick
colored pencils
3 ring binder dividers
3 pens- blue black and red
1 red fine point felt tipped pen
#2 pencils
12 inch ruler
1 high-liter
spiral notebook
graph paper
3x5 index cards
dri-erase markers

High School Students:

Backpack
3-ring
binder
pens and pencils
notebook paper
