I-80 Collision Blocks Lanes

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A multi-vehicle crash that possibly resulted in injuries Friday morning on Interstate Highway 80 was blocking lanes south of Fairfield and Suisun City. The collision on westbound I-80 was reported at 9:02 a.m., west of the Red Top Road off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs.

As of 9:15 a.m., all westbound lanes were blocked by the crash.

Roadway flooding was also reported.

It was not clear how many vehicles were involved but one vehicle was overturned and another was on its side.

An ambulance was requested at the scene.
