JUST IN: Medical Emergency Causing Systemwide BART Delays
The incident is at the Embarcadero station.
A major medical emergency at BART’s Embarcadero station in San Francisco is causing major delays systemwide, an agency spokesman said.
The medical emergency was reported at 1:25 p.m., BART spokesman Jim Allison said. He did not say what the nature of the medical emergency was. Trains heading to Embarcadero from other BART stations are being turned around, Allison said as of 1:40 p.m.
No other details were immediately available, he said.
