Kaiser Permanente Marks National Cancer Survivors Day with Celebrate Life Event
Event will be held June 24th in Vallejo.

Kaiser Permanente’s Vallejo Medical Center will mark National Cancer Survivors Day on Saturday, June 24 with the 4th Annual Celebrate Life event -- a day of learning, wellness and living after cancer.
Kaiser Permanente specialists will discuss the latest advancements in cancer treatments and research, as well as the mind/body connection to surviving and thriving after cancer.
The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Drop-ins are welcome.

- Lou Fehrenbacher, MD, will discuss the latest developments in cancer treatment and how research is defining the future of cancer care
- Chris Nauman, MD, an oncologist and musician will share how music can help cancer survivors focus on their health and provide a unique way to heal the mind, body and soul
- “The Doctor Is In,” an informal Q&A with physician experts in breast, colon, lung, prostate and skin cancers
- Cooking demonstrations and educational booths
- Giveaways
- Networking with other survivors
Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
