Kickin' It With Police: Benicia Photo Of The Week
Two Benicia police officers decided they wanted in on the fun and a family was happy to oblige.

BENICIA, CA -- A family got to kick it with some Benicia police officers last Sunday when the officers saw the group playing a game of soccer at City Park. Officers Stovold and Francis saw how much fun the family was having so they asked to join in.
"Although they were called away shortly to a call for service, the officers had a great time spending some time with the family," the Benicia Police Department said in a Facebook post. "It was a good reminder for all of us to slow down and get to know your neighbors… who knows - you may just share a game of soccer!"
Thanks, Benicia PD, for letting us share this great photo!

It’s Your Shot: Pictures You Take and We Share
It seems everyone’s a photographer these days. Cellphones capture amazing images. True DSLR cameras render detail that almost looks surreal. We got to thinking. Why not share the pictures we receive, and see elsewhere, with you?
Have you got the next incredible photo? If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch, we’d love to feature it on Patch. We’re looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty that is the North Bay and that show off your unique talents.
