Lanes Closed On I-80 For Overnight Road Work At Cordelia Scales
The road work at the Cordelia Weigh Station in Solano County started at 7 p.m. and continues until 10 a.m. Friday, Caltrans said.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Overnight road work started at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, and continues until 10 a.m. Friday, July 23, on eastbound Interstate 80 at the Cordelia Weigh Station in Solano County, Caltrans said.
"To ensure worker and public safety, various lanes on EB I-80 will be closed starting with the two far-right lanes, crews could possibly take up to four lanes on the EB I-80 mainline starting at 7:00 PM -10:00 AM," Caltrans Spokesperson Pedro Quintana said.
Caltrans urges motorists to use the Chadbourne Road off-ramp to exit eastbound I-80. To access Suisun Valley Road, the traveling public can return back onto the westbound I-80 on-ramp and exit via the Suisun Valley Road off-ramp.

The overnight road work on eastbound I-80 is scheduled to take place again next week from 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, until 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29.
The eastbound I-80 Suisun Valley Road / Pittman Road off-ramp is closed during the construction hours, and the northbound I-680 connector on-ramp to eastbound I-80 is reduced down to one lane.

"Motorists traveling through the work zone should expect lane restrictions and should be aware of commercial work vehicles traveling in the area," Quintana said.
