Man Shot Dead In Car in Vallejo: Police
A murder investigation is underway, the Vallejo Police Department said Tuesday.
VALLEJO, CA — A murder investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death inside a car Sunday night in a Vallejo neighborhood, police said Tuesday. The police department at 10:23 p.m. Sunday received a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Corcoran Avenue, Vallejo PD Lt. Fabio Rodriguez stated in a news release.
"Vallejo police and Vallejo fire personnel located an adult male victim who had been shot inside of a vehicle," Rodriguez said. "The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene."
Vallejo police detectives and crime-scene personnel responded to the shooting near Setterquist Park and took over the investigation, the lieutenant said.

Police did not release the identity of the victim Tuesday.
