Minuteman Press Vallejo is Small Business of the Year
Senator Bill Dodd honors local business owners.
SACRAMENTO – Gary Salvadori was traveling the world as an executive for a major corporation when he realized he needed to find a new occupation that would allow him to spend more time at home. So he parlayed his marketing background into a new venture, Minuteman Press Vallejo, which he launched with his wife Judi and son Marc in 1991. The franchise took off, quickly gaining a reputation for quality printing and customer service. At the same time, Gary, Judi and Marc immersed themselves in community leadership and philanthropy, serving in the Rotary, Soroptimist Club and the Chamber of Commerce and taking active roles in various charities.
“The mission and motto of the business has always been to be a strong, community minded local business,” Gary Salvadori said. “We go out of our way to be involved in many service organizations so we can give back to the community that has supported us for so long.
In recognition of the Salvadoris’ 27-year commitment, Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, has named Minuteman Press Vallejo the Senate District Three Small Business of the Year for 2018.

“Small businesses are critical to the economic well-being of the state by creating jobs and bringing innovation to the marketplace,” Senator Dodd said. “Minuteman Press Vallejo epitomizes the value of these small companies not only with their excellent service but their dedication to the community of Vallejo. I greatly admire the Salvadori family’s achievement and wish them many more years of success.”
Both father and son have served as chairmen of the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce. The family has supported Relay for Life, Loma Vista Farm, Leadership Vallejo and Sutter Solano Hospital among other organizations.

“I want to thank Senator Dodd for the honor of being selected small business of the year,” said Marc Salvadori, who is general manager and owns a majority stake in the company. “We value our customers and look forward to more successful years of supporting the Vallejo community.”
