Motorcyclist Killed on Hwy 80 ID'd as Charles Bledsoe
Bledsoe lost control, fell off the motorcycle, and was struck by a westbound 2015 Toyota Highlander.

The Solano County coroner’s office has identified the motorcycle rider who died Saturday afternoon when he was run over by a SUV on Interstate Highway 80 as 70-year-old Charles Bledsoe of Yountville.
Bledsoe was riding a 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle between 65-75 mph west on I-80 approaching the Interstate Highway 680 over-crossing around 1:50 p.m., a California Highway Patrol sergeant said.

Bledsoe lost control, fell off the motorcycle, and was struck by a westbound 2015 Toyota Highlander, CHP Sgt. C Eric Brewer said.
The motorcycle caught fire and brought all lanes of traffic to a stop for 80 minutes, Brewer said. Bledsoe was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol or drugs are not suspected as factors in the collision, Brewer said.
