North Bay Man Arrested for Allegedly Possessing Child Porn

The arrest came after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Police arrested a man this morning in Napa on suspicion of possession of child pornography after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, a police lieutenant said.

Brian Wood Sheahan, 58, of Napa, was arrested at a home in the 4200 block of Jefferson Street and booked in the Napa County Jail on one count of possession of child pornography, Lt. Debbie Peecook said.

Police received the tip from the NCMEC because the police department status is an affiliate agency of the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, Peecook said.
