North Bay Woman Accused In SF Red-Light Crash That Killed Man
The woman ran a red light in her Tesla, collided with another car and then hit two pedestrians, one fatally, according to San Francisco PD.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA —Police have identified a woman who allegedly ran a red light and killed a pedestrian in a collision Sunday afternoon in San Francisco as Kelsey Mariah Cambridge, 21, of Vallejo. Cambridge was driving a Tesla north on Taylor Street when she ran a red light at the intersection of Taylor and O'Farrell streets, police said.
The Tesla struck a Mini Cooper, causing both vehicles to lose control. The Tesla struck two pedestrians, Benjamin and Kelly Dean of Clovis in Fresno County.
Benjamin Dean died from his injuries. Kelly Dean remains in the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

According to Kelly Dean's Facebook profile, the married couple was celebrating their wedding anniversary in San Francisco.
Cambridge was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and running a red light.
