One Injured in Crash that Shuts Down Eastbound I-80

One person was transported to a hospital with minor injuries, including a cut to the head.

One person was injured Wednesday in a collision that briefly closed all eastbound lanes of I-80 in Fairfield, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident was reported at 8:52 p.m. just east of Travis Boulevard. A Sig-alert was issued at 8:58 p.m., and later cancelled at 9:21 p.m., according to the CHP.

One person was transported to a hospital with minor injuries, including a cut to the head, CHP officers said.
