Oops! Car Burglar Leaves Behind His Own Wallet: Police
Benicia Police didn't have much trouble identifying a suspect in a car burglary last week. (Breaking)

BENICIA, CA — Benicia Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Military East after they received a call about a car alarm going off.
The victim, who had called police, "reported that he found a knife and other items inside his car that were not his. The officers also found a wallet that was later determined to be the suspect's."
A search of the area turned up the suspect, Michael Steele, 28, of Paso Robles. He was hiding behind a car.

Steele was arrested for auto burglary, felony vandalism and being drunk in public.
Police say, "This is a good reminder for our residents to be vigilant. Always call us right away if you see anything suspicious!"
