Open Dance Auditions-Benicia Ballet Theatre

Benicia Ballet Theatre announces its open audition date for the 2016 production “Menagerie”.

‘Menagerie’ features “Carnival of the Animals” by Saint-Saens as well as dance variations performed to the music of Great Composers. The production will have live musical accompaniment.

The community is invited and encouraged to attend the open casting call. Ballet levels 1-4 (approx ages 6-10 DOE) will audition from 2-3pm; Ballet 5 and above from 3:30-5pm. No audition is required for dancers below Level 1 (under age 6, DOE), simply contact our office.

Participants in the production are not limited to a specific dance school. Bring your $20 audition fee, cash or check. Audition fee will be applied toward any production fees if cast. Adults and/or others interested in performing but cannot make the audition date, please contact BBT directly via email.

Performances will take place March 5, 2016 at Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre. Rehearsals are most Saturday afternoons between 2-7pm, role specific. All auditions and rehearsals located at 938 Tyler Street, #204, Benicia.
