Pair of Benicia Residents Complete Boston Marathon

In a race which Kenya's Geoffrey Mutai ran the fastest marathon in recorded history, two Benicia residents also took part in the 115th annual Boston Marathon Monday.

John Huebner, 53, covered the 26.2-mile course in 3:29.35 — an eight-minute mile pace.

Rob Braulik, 48, ran the course in a 8:39-mile pace and finished in 3:46.16.
