Panthers Prevail Against American Canyon on Senior Night

The Austin Carr show was the headliner on Friday night as the Panthers rolled to their seventh victory of the season.

The Benicia Panthers ended their 2011 season with a 57-34 victor over American Canyon on a chilly night at Drolette Stadium.  The night started on a bittersweet note as senior players and cheerleaders were honored at their last regular season game.

The Napa County Register reported that American Canyon stayed in the game until the fourth quarter.

Next up for the Panthers, 7-3 on the season, is the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Division III playoffs this Friday, November 11 at Casa Roble High in Orangevale.  The game starts at 7 p.m.
