Paying Child Support Just Got WAY Easier In Solano County
There is a new partnership with Moneygram and the California Department of Child Support Services.

A partnership between MoneyGram and Solano County is going to make it easier for parents to make child support payments, county officials said.
Starting next Monday, the partnership will allow parents to make cash, debit and credit card payments at more than 60 locations throughout the county.
Both children and parents stand to benefit, according to Alisha Griffin, director of the California Department of Child Support Services.

Parents who want to make a cash payment using MoneyGram will need their Participant Identification Number and must refer to the group “Receive Code 14630.”
MoneyGram charges $1.99 for each payment, but this is less than it costs many to drive to a child support office.

Payments may take up to three days to post, county officials said.
MoneyGram has more than 6,200 agents in California and locations in retail stores such as Lucky, CVS, Wal-Mart, Raley’s, FoodMaxx and 7-Eleven. Parents can make payments free of charge with debit and credit cards at the Solano County Department of Child Support Services located at 435 Executive Court North in Fairfield.
The office does not accept cash payments.
