Peaceful Vigil For 2-Year Anniversary of Oscar Garcia's Death in Vallejo
Family and friends do not want the shooting case to go cold.

.A peaceful candlelight vigil was planned for tonight -- Wednesday -- for Oscar Garcia in front of the Vallejo Police Department, according to family and friends.

“The reason for this vigil is to bring awareness to the Vallejo Police Department and the community that we will not give up and just let this case go cold like they would like us to,” said one of the the vigil organizers.
“ The case has had no new updates or information in over a year, along with no communication or returned calls. The case is still open and under investigation because they have no leads or evidence on anyone. ... We hope to have a peaceful candle light vigil to remember Oscar and hopefully have some contact with VPD.”

“He was a innocent, hard-working young man with his life taken from his own home, and we want some type of justice served for our loved one,” she said.
