Person From Solano Co. Shot In Leg Sunday Night

The 41-year-old Vallejo victim arrived with the injury at an area hospital, police said.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – A shooting victim was hospitalized with an injury Sunday night in Vallejo, police said.

At 8:40 p.m. a 41-year-old Vallejo resident walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the left leg, police said.

According to police, the shooting occurred earlier in the 700 block of Porter Street.

The suspect was described as a black man, about 33 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, heavy set with short black hair. He was wearing a black jacket and a white T-shirt, police said.

According to police, the suspect fled north on Porter Street after the shooting. He remains at large, police said.
