SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The Salvation Army is responding to the LNU Lighting Complex, Jones Fire and Deer Zone Fire Complex wildfires burning across several counties in Northern California by feeding first responders and evacuees.

  • Ulatis Community Center at 1000 Ulatis Dr.
  • McBride Senior Center at 91 Town Square Pl.

The Hennessey Fire spread late Tuesday and early Wednesday into Solano County, destroyed several homes and forced thousands to evacuate. The blaze is part of the LNU Lightning Complex, which has fires burning in five counties: Solano, Sonoma, Napa, Lake and Yolo. Altogether, the fires consumed more than 124,000 acres as of Wednesday and were 0-percent contained.
