Save Energy, Water and Money with the Benicia Home Efficiency Program!
Help Benicia achieve community-wide water and energy reductions. Sign up for your FREE home consultation!
Do you want to help save the environment, help your town, and local youth? Have you discovered that you have an unusually high water or energy bill? Or see that your water usage is too high? You should call the Benicia Home Efficiency Program (BHEP). BHEP is a free, city-sponsored program designed to help all Benicia residents! To participate in the program all it takes is a simple call or visit to our web site! You can also speak to Benicia High School student interns in person at several community events! Find our table at the Benicia Public Library most Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5:30 pm.
Once you schedule your free home consultation, experienced consultants will come to your home and evaluate your home's water and energy use, check your home for water leaks and provide you with personalized recommendations for savings. We also come equipped with free (yes, free!) energy and water saving devices that we can offer to you just for participating! These devices vary from faucet aerators that reduce the water flow in your faucets to energy efficient LED light bulbs that are much more energy efficient compared to the swirly CFL bulbs!
Since the entire state of California is in a severe drought, one of the best things residents can do is be informed about their water usage. We will show you how much water you are using indoors and outdoors and if any of your appliances are eligible for local rebates and incentives. Schedule your free consultation today! Call BHEP at 800-314-5997 or sign up online at www.beniciahomeefficiency.org.
