What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
I want to take an active role in the ongoing improvement of our local educational system.
What will be your top three priorities if you get elected and why?
- To open communication between the board and staff, teachers, parents, students. Have the Board more visible.
- Strive to have the Board meet the School Board Goals established 9/16/10
- Look for opportunities / mentorship for students not going to college – vocational arts
What sets you apart from other candidates?
I enjoy community service. I have a history of being involved in programs that has a positive influence on youth. I like knowing that I have helped improve the education and safety of the children in our schools. I have been an active and involved parent for both of my children.
