Skaters at Benicia Community Park Looking for Some Light

Are you a skateboarder who is looking for the light?  Are you the parent of a skater who wants to know where your kid is after dark? If so, there is an online petition just for you.  The website change.org has an online petition asking for lights at the X-Park located in Benicia's Community Park located behind Matthew Turner School on Rose Drive.

Currently the X-Park is closed from dusk to 9 a.m.  Mike Wilk, a merchant marine says the lights would be helpful for people like him who have to work and can't get to the X-Park until it is nearly time to shut it down.
