#SkyFire: 150-Acre Fire In Vacaville 25% Contained By Late Monday Afternoon
300 firefighters are responding. Erratic winds hampering efforts.

The 150-acre Sky Fire in the Mix Canyon Road and Sky Ranch Lane area of Solano County east of Mount Vaca and north of Fairfield was 25 percent contained this afternoon, a Cal Fire spokesman said.
Both those roads are closed.
Ten to 12 homes in the area are threatened but none has burned, Cal Fire spokesman Robert Olsten said. Voluntary evacuations are in effect. Erratic winds are hampering efforts, officials said.

The fire spread from a burning vehicle to vegetation in the area around 10:40 a.m., the Vacaville Fire Protection District said.
Three hundred firefighters have responded to the blaze, Olsten said. Cal Fire Capt. Joe Fletcher firefighters from Vacaville, Dixon, Fairfield, Suisun City and Cal Fire also responded.

Four air tankers and two helicopters, six engines and two inmate crews responded to the blaze, Fletcher said.
