Solano Co. Homicide Suspect Arrested In Sacramento

A 42-year-old woman was arrested in Sacramento in connection with the killing of a 53-year-old Vallejo man earlier this month.

VALLEJO, CA —A woman has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Vallejo earlier in November.

Police found George Harris Jr., 53, of Vallejo, suffering from gunshot wounds around 9:35 p.m. on Nov. 5 in the 1000 block of Alabama Street. He was taken to a hospital where he died, Lt. Fabio Rodriguez said.

Police identified Ayesha Clark, 42, of Vallejo, as the suspect and the Solano County Superior Court reviewed the case and charged Clark with the killing.

Vallejo police and Sacramento County sheriff's deputies located Clark at a home in the 7600 block of Lakewood Park Drive in Sacramento and she was arrested Wednesday night, Rodriguez said.
