SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Have you ever wondered what it would be a law enforcement volunteer?

The Solano County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for people interested in volunteering their valuable time supporting operations as part of the “Sheriff’s Active Volunteer Experience.”

This dynamic group of volunteers will be utilized throughout the Sheriff’s Office to assist with a wide variety of jobs and assignments.

Areas you may be assigned to include, but are not limited to:

  • Patrol Division (Volunteer Citizen Patrol) Investigations Bureau;
  • Administrative Services;
  • Property and ID,
  • Records and Warrants;
  • Animal Care Services'
  • Public Relations.

The Solano County Sheriff's SAVE Program is comprised of adults who are familiar with Solano County, and who will receive training and be utilized to enhance vital bureaus within the agency. The volunteers will
also enhance crime prevention services and community awareness.

There is plenty of flexibility in hours desired, however, a 16-hour-per-month minimum is required.
