Solano Co. Woman Killed In I-80 Crash Early Tuesday Morning

A 29-year-old Fairfield woman was killed in a car crash early this morning on Interstate Highway 80 in Hercules, according to the California Highway Patrol and Contra Costa County coroner’s office.

The woman, identified by the coroner’s office as Zairalene Abiodun, died when a car she was in crashed shortly after midnight in the eastbound lanes of Highway 80 near state Highway 4, CHP officials said.

The crash shut down two lanes on the highway while officers investigated the scene, according to the CHP.

A CHP spokesman did not immediately return requests for more information about the crash.
