Spenger Garden Series Continues at Camel Barn
This weekend get ready for a lively brand of Americana music.

Houston Jones is a California based high octane Americana quintet. Formed in 2001, the band performs a strong original repertoire that ranges from bluegrass and folk to blues and gospel. Houston Jones features Glenn Houston (lead guitar), Peter Tucker (drums and percussion), Travis Jones (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Chris Kee (standup bass, cello and guitar), and Henry Salvia (keyboards and accordion).
The Spenger Garden Music series is in its third year here at the . Rhonda Hicks has coordinated a varied line of musicians for this season’s performance. The series began on June 18 and the last show ends in October.

“We are looking forward to our Saturday performance at the Benicia Historical Museum's Spenger Garden Music Series. It's our first performance at this venue, and this will also be a very special concert celebrating the release of our sixth album, "Queen of Yesterday". The CD features all original material and is already receiving rave reviews from as far away as New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.”

Bring a jacket or a blanket as the temperature tends to cool down quite a bit as the evening goes on. Refreshments and snacks are sold at the museum and plenty of parking is available. All shows are family friendly.
