Stolen Car Found Among Those Towed, Abandoned In Vallejo

The city is trying to clear up reports of 235 abandoned vehicles.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Vallejo police found a stolen car Sunday during a check of 235 reported abandoned vehicles in the city.

Officers had 43 cars towed for various violations such as a registration that's been expired for more than six months or a car that was missing parts needed to run.

Officers also issued 16 parking citations and marked seven cars for towing if they are not moved within 72 hours.

Police said they will check on all the cars reported to them. They have 240 more to check.
